Astrometrical
Astrometrical is a platform for astronomy outreach, education, and publishing. Astrophotography deserves more than a compressed thumbnail on a social media feed: Astrometrical lets viewers explore your images at full resolution, panning and zooming seamlessly in the browser, whether it's a single deep-sky capture or a mosaic spanning hundreds of megapixels.
It runs in any modern browser and installs as an app on your phone or tablet.
What you get
- Full-resolution viewing: upload images of any size and they're processed automatically into interactive, zoomable views. No crops, no rescaling, no extra files.
- Capture data: document your equipment, acquisition settings, and processing workflow alongside every image.
- Articles and collections: publish writing around your imagery and curate works into browsable collections.
- A community for astronomy: profiles, follows, likes, and comments, with an audience that's here specifically for astronomy (not fighting an algorithm).
Come along for the ride
Astrometrical is just getting started, and big things are coming. If what we're building resonates with you, come and take a look.
